On receipt, cylinder heads and all component parts are identified with a unique reference number . After inspection, a full report is sent to the customer including a reconditioning schedule and a bulletin of spare parts required.
Before the service , the customer gets informed about the total cost.
The process of reconditioning indicatively includes:
• Hydraulic tests.
• Dismantling of all the components from the body of cylinder head.
• External cleaning.
• Internal chemical cleaning and degreasing.
• Inspection and recording of damages.
• Crack detection and repair.
• Overall inspection and complete reconditioning service for valve cages.
• Replacement of damaged or worn out component parts (guides, O- rings, springs, seals, rotators, coils etc.) with new ones.
• Measuring of the straightness and the wear of valves, valve seat rings and valve guides.
• Dimensional measurement and refacing of starting, inlet and exhaust valves
• Elimination of corroded seats rings surface by high accuracy grinding machinery.
• Extraction of worn out seat rings, when repair is not feasible and replacement with new ones.
• Elaboration and smoothing of contact surfaces.
• Disassembly, reconditioning and fitting of starting valves
• Fitting of the component parts on the body of the cylinder head.
• Vacuum tests.
• Coating application with anti-corrosive and heat-resistant paint.
